Russian min offers to raise quota on Turkish tomato imports 25%
MOSCOW, Jan 31 (PRIME) -- The Russian Agriculture Ministry offers to raise the tomato imports quota from Turkey to 200,000 tonnes from 150,000 tonnes, according to a draft order published on the state portal for legal acts on Friday.
Moscow banned tomato imports from Turkey as part of the sanctions introduced after Ankara downed a Russian Su-24 bomber in 2016. In November 2017, the restrictions were lifted and tomatoes are imported under quotas.
